Hope Therapy Center is an outpatient therapy center specializing in pediatric hearing loss. Our mission is to assist you and your child so that he or she has participation to the fullest possible extent in normal family life. In order to do this your child must have an effective means to communicate with the people in their environment.

A child doesn’t learn to communicate on his own. He or she learns by interacting with the world and when young, family is the biggest part of that world. The world holds fun and exciting things to communicate about, here are just a few:

• Brushing teeth
• Meal time
• Bath time
• Picking up toys
• Getting ready for school
• Homework time
• Putting away groceries
• Washing clothes
• Going on a walk

It is important that you and your child work with professionals that have adequate training and experience in the area of hearing loss in order to help you make decisions about communication options. Let us help you learn to enjoy communicating together!
